Terms and Conditions of Service

Welcome to AKOKO Creative Studio! These Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs") govern your use of our services and products, including design consultation packages, room revamp services, and physical products. By booking a service or purchasing a product, you agree to these T&Cs.
1. Overview of Services
AKOKO Creative Studio offers interior design services in tiered packages, including Design Consultation, Virtual Layout Lab, Room Revamp, and Total Transformation. Each package has specific inclusions as detailed on our website.
2. Booking and Payments
2.1 Booking Process

To book a service package, you must select a consultation slot and pay the required deposit via our website.

A confirmation email will be sent with your consultation details, along with instructions for submitting your project information, including photos, measurements, and preferences.

2.2 Deposit and Balance Payments

The deposit amount for your selected service is due at the time of booking to secure your consultation.

The remaining balance must be paid before the delivery of your design package.

2.3 Non-Refundable Deposit

Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation is made less than 48 hours before your scheduled consultation.
3. Delivery Timelines
-
For Room Revamp and Virtual Layout Lab packages, design packages will be delivered within 10 business days of the consultation date. Revisions will be delivered within a further 10 business days of the revision consultation date.

For Total Transformation, delivery timelines will be discussed during the consultation and are dependent on the scope of the project.

​Once the initial design package has been issued, AKOKO Creative Studio will allow a review period of 14 calendar days before shipping any material samples, complimentary décor items, or 3D printed models included in the package.
If no revision request is received within this 14-day period, the design will be deemed accepted by the client as delivered, and AKOKO Creative Studio will proceed with preparation and shipment of the associated items.
4. Refund and Cancellation Policy
4.1 Products

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery.

Customers must notify us of their intent to return a product via email at returns@akokocreative.co.uk before sending it back.

Customers are responsible for return postage costs and ensuring the item is delivered safely.

4.2 Custom and Made-To-Order Products

Custom and made-to-order products (including bespoke 3D prints, Custom MiniSpace modules, and any specially sourced or personalised items) are non-refundable.

Once production has started, cancellation is no longer possible and no refunds will be issued.

AKOKO Creative Studio will provide an estimated production timeframe; customers are responsible for ensuring all specifications are correct before production begins.

4.3 Services

Customers have the right to cancel their service agreement within 14 days of booking, in accordance with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.

To exercise this right, customers must cancel their booking directly through the website or notify us in writing at studio@akokocreative.co.uk.
However, by booking a consultation date within the 14-day cancellation period, the customer explicitly requests and consents for services to begin during this time. The customer acknowledges and agrees that:

If any part of the service is provided during the 14-day cancellation period (e.g., the consultation has taken place or preparatory work has begun), AKOKO Creative Studio reserves the right to deduct a reasonable cancellation charge from any refund.

For consultations that have already been conducted, the deposit is considered non-refundable as it serves as payment for the service provided.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the consultation are not eligible for a refund of the deposit.
No refunds will be issued after the consultation has taken place, except in cases where required by law.
5. Client Responsibilities
To provide the best results, clients are required to:

Submit complete and accurate information via the project form, including photos, measurements, and preferences, within 48 hours of booking.

Respond promptly to communications to avoid delays in the project timeline.

Ensure that any provided measurements are accurate. AKOKO Creative Studio is not liable for errors resulting from incorrect information.

It is the client’s responsibility to review the design pack and notify AKOKO Creative Studio of any adjustment requests or to book a revision consultation within the 14-day review period. If the client does not respond within this timeframe, the design will be considered approved, and the fulfillment process will continue accordingly. Any request made outside this window may fall outside the included service scope and an additional fee may be applicable.

Clients requiring more time to review may request an extension, provided the request is submitted within the initial review period. Extensions are granted at the sole discretion of AKOKO Creative Studio.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Design Deliverables

All design deliverables, including layouts, mood boards, and 3D renders, remain the intellectual property of AKOKO Creative Studio.

Deliverables are for personal use only and may not be redistributed or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

6.2 Use of Submitted Images

By submitting photographs or images of your space to AKOKO as part of the service, you grant AKOKO Creative Studio a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and publish these images (including edited versions).

Images may be used for marketing, promotional, and portfolio purposes, including but not limited to our website, social media channels, and printed materials.

​If you do not wish your images to be used in this way, you must notify AKOKO in writing prior to submission.
7. Limitation of Liability
AKOKO Creative Studio will not be held liable for:

Delays caused by incomplete or incorrect information provided by the client.

Issues arising from products purchased via our recommended shopping links.

Misuse of any deliverables provided as part of our service.
8. Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your personal data. Any information you provide will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with GDPR.
9. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a service or purchasing a product, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these T&Cs.
